About me

From Patagonia to Denmark

I’m a biologist from Argentine Patagonia, now based in Denmark after over a decade in Europe, from the Catalan Pyrenees and Bavarian Alps to Aarhus. My work blends ecology, forestry, and environmental science, with a focus on GIS, remote sensing, and spatial data analysis.

A Scientific, and Diverse Path

I’ve worked across 15+ interdisciplinary projects, moving between fieldwork, laboratory research, and GIS-based environmental analysis. I’m driven by the idea that science should not stay on paper, it should translate into practical solutions for ecosystems, cities, and communities.

My path has taken me from using a machete and chainsaw in remote Patagonian landscapes, to coordinating projects in Greenland (only 1400 km from the North Pole!), and communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences across cultures, institutions, and disciplines.

Bass player = team player

Apart from working as a biologist and project coordinator, I have played the bass for years, which has taught me how to connect parts, improvise, listen carefully, and support the whole, much like working in a good team.

Beyond music, the mountains are a big part of my life; hiking, climbing, and alpinism keep me grounded and connected to nature.
